The following is the best practice:

Upload the video to YouTube as Private/Unlisted, and wait for the video to finish processing.

What do you see under the 'Restrictions' section?

Option A: I see 'None'

If you see 'None', you're all clear!

Option B: I see 'Copyright'

If you see 'Copyright' it means there is a copyright claim. Don't worry!

Can this be avoided altogether?

If a track is registered with Content ID, there is no way to avoid receiving a copyright claim, but it can be removed before the video is published. And if you receive it after the video is published, the claim can be removed - and your monetization will not be at risk.

Why does this happen?

Why did I receive a copyright claim from YouTube?

TuneReel places an emphasis on music quality and on artists' independence. In order to protect their music, some of the artists in our catalog have chosen to register their tracks on Content ID services, which means that video creators using music from TuneReel may encounter a copyright claim.

But don't worry!

TuneReel will help with any copyright claim you receive, and will work with you to remove the claim. We will make it as easy as possible to file dispute and work directly with the copyright management company to resolve any issues.

If you properly licensed music from TuneReel, you're covered!

While some users prefer to never deal with any copyright claims, TuneReel users consider it an acceptable compromise for having access to amazing music.
